My Story

My name is John, and I founded History Capture out of love for my grandparents' legacy. As a videographer, I began recording their stories and memories, fearing my future kids wouldn't know them. Each interview became a cherished treasure, packed with laughter and wisdom. This inspired me to help others capture thier family stories, creating lasting family heirlooms.

Corporate Storytelling

My story starts in Florida with corporate interviews, commercials, and filming live events. I loved being behind the camera and asking questions. I practiced my skills interviewing my own grandparents.

March 2020

Covid Lockdowns

With elderly at the greatest risk, Senior Living centers across the country were shutdown to outside visitors. This included the ones my own grandparents were living in.

2021

Lockdowns Lifiting

As lockdowns started lifting, scheduled visits were allowed. Not knowing what would happen next my Mom asked me to bring my cameras out and continue recording my grandparents.

After relocating to Colorado the idea of capturing interviews for other families was rejuvinated and launched as History Capture.
